Welcome, parents of the class of 2014. We, your "Class Parents" are excited to be working with Langley Assistant Principal Tommy Meier and our Class Faculty Sponsors Amanda Archibald and Michelle Colville, to communicate with you over the next four years.  We are here to assist in getting information to you that will help you navigate the high school years and keep you informed on upcoming events. To contact you, we will be using a Google Group email account.  It is critical that you SUBSCRIBE now to lhs2014+subscribe@googlegroups.com. Once you have subscribed, you can email us with questions, suggestions, etc. at lhs2014@googlegroups.com.

Please note the following dates and plan on attending:

• Monday, September 13 FRESHMAN CLASS COFFEE
   9:25-10:45 a.m.,  Auditorium. This is the first of four Class Coffees. Come meet Langley Principal, Assistant Principal and our Class Faculty Sponsors.

• Wednesday, September 22 FRESHMAN CLASS DINNER
  6:30-8:00 p.m., Cafeteria. This is our only Class Dinner and fund raiser for the      year, and is for students and their families.

• Wednesday, September 29 BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT
  7:00 p.m., Auditorium. All parents are encouraged to attend. You will meet your      student's teachers as you follow their school schedule from class to class. Don't      forget to bring a copy of your student's schedule.  

Other important sources of information to be aware of:
• Back-to-School Packets. Your student will have received this packet at Orientation on September 1.
• FCPS Keep-in-Touch (KiT). You will automatically be included in this email notification system for emergencies, attendance and outreach, via your email information on the Emergency Care Form included in the Back-to-School packet. For more information, go to http://www.fcps.edu/kit
